Why Lunamies®?
The name Lunamies® was created by combining the word luna (latin for Moon) and amies (French for friends). Lunamies® are little soft friends of the Moon. 

And why this material?
Because it is 100% cotton certified for children under 3 years of age. Specially treated cotton fabric that is washed together with stones during its manufacture. This gives the fabric a wrinkled appearance resembling linen, resulting in a very soft material that is pleasant to the touch.

And why may the shape and embroidery on Lunamies® pendants vary slightly?
Because Lunamies® pendants are hand sewn, and although our seamstresses are very precise in their work, they cannot sew like a machine. And we wouldn't want them to.

And why can't I wash Lunamies® pendants in a washing machine?
Because Lunamies® pendants contain a metal clip that could be damaged in the washing machine.

And why should I buy your Cotton Ball string lights?
Because these aren't plastic balls made on a machine, they are hand woven balls made from natural cotton in Thailand in Chiang Mai. The size of each ball and the gap between them was carefully tested and adapted to the product's requirements. This made Lunamies® an integral part of the garlands.

And why can the Cotton Ball string lights only be cleaned with a dry cloth or duster?
Because they are glued with natural glue that could dissolve on contact with water or other liquids. The shape of the balls could change.

Why do you send the Cotton Ball string lights unassembled?
Because this is part of the Lunamies® philosophy; it focuses on the cooperation between parents and children. If you want to receive the Cotton Ball string lights assembled, choose the option "Assemble" to your cart.

Why should I not worry about putting the Cotton Ball lights in my child's room?
Because they are safe; they have CE certification and meet the requirements of EU legislation. Because they are not a toy, they should be kept out of reach of children.

Why do you only offer cream coloured Cotton Ball lights? 
Because we believe that beauty is in simplicity, and multicoloured lights wouldn't match the Lunamies® pendants. 

Why can the diameter of each ball differ slightly?
Because each ball is a hand woven original.

Why do you only offer lights using batteries?
Because in terms of choosing a place to hang up the lights, a battery powered light chain is very practical. The box with the batteries can be easily hidden. 

Why don't you have a physical store?
Because there's a time for everything, and we believe we will get there in time. 

Why can I only contact you on business days from 10 am to 6 pm?
Because we believe that parents should find time to spend with their kids, and the weekend is perfect for that. 

Why do you answer emails within a few hours? 
Because we don't want to do anything half-heartedly, we can't jump from one thing to the next. But don't worry, we will try to answer you as soon as possible. 

Why can't I pick up my order at your store?
Because we don't have a physical store yet. 

Why is the delivery deadline a maximum of 7 days from the receipt of an order?
Because we generally ship orders we receive within 4 working days. The delivery date is the day on which the goods are handed over to the carrier for delivery. Delivery time within the Czech Republic is 1-3 working days depending on the selected carrier.

Why should I inform the carrier if the package is damaged?
Because if you don't report it right away and you only discover the package is damaged at home, it's harder for us and the shipping company to solve the problem. So please, examine the package as soon as the carrier delivers it. 

Why should I first contact your customer service by email or phone if the package is damaged before I return it?
Because there is a solution to every problem. Please read our return and complaint policy here and follow the instructions to make the process as easy as possible for you. 

Why do I need to send an email if I want to cancel my order? 
Because we need to determine whether we've already sent your order. If your order has already left the warehouse, we unfortunately cannot cancel it - then you must proceed according to the conditions for returning goods.
